Awards Celebration
The Hudson Valley Wine & Grape Association
will hold their Awards Celebration Saturday
March 24, 2007 at 2pm at Stoutridge
Vineyards, Marlboro, New York.
The
wine competition was held February
18, 2007 and highlights the quality of
our regions wines and the growing interest
the public has for them. Ten winners
from the Commercial Wine Competition will
be carefully paired with delectable dishes
by Main Course in New
Paltz.
You
will be able to taste such award winning
wines as Baldwin Vineyards
"Memories"
paired with Catsmo Smoked Salmon with
Paddle Fish Caviar, Toasted Bruschetta,
Adair Vineyards "2006
Cayuga White" paired with
Tuscan Fire Roasted Chicken, Basil Pistou
with Slow Cooked Cannellini Beans, Red
Onions Calamata Olives, and Oak
Summit's "2005 Hudson
River Region Pinot Noir"
paired with Carved House Smoked Sirloin
of Beef with Horseradish Sofrito, Petite
Onion Brioche.
Tickets
for this event are $55 per person and
includes, admission, 2007 HVWGA wine glass, ten
winning wines paired with mouthwatering
dishes from the Main Course.

Hudson Valley Wine & Grape Association primary
interests is to increase the quality
and quantity of wine and grape production
in the Hudson Valley through education,
knowledge, networking and cooperation.
Our membership consists
of producers of grapes (wine, table or
juice) and wines (grape and fruit) in
the Hudson Valley whose product is defined
by the unique macro climate and terrain
of the Hudson Valley.
